One of the first films ever shot on VENICE 2 by DoP Rob Hardy ASC, BSC captured atmospheric shots on a two-day shoot at the UK’s historic Knebworth House.

Playing with time and place he pushes our new CineAlta camera to its limits. Known for his DP work on Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Ex Machina, Annihilation, and Devs, Hardy is bridging the roles of cinematographer and director as he looks to evoke the spirit of two very different periods in time ​

Building on the success of the original, VENICE 2 has a host of changes, from simple repositioning Lemo 12V and Ethernet connectors to adding internal 16-bit X-OCN or 4K ProRes recording, so that filmmakers can move even faster. VENICE 2 also offers a choice of the original 6K sensor, with all its many imager modes, and the newly developed 8K sensor which offers sensational latitude and colour rendition so DoPs can push their creative ideas further.
