Athens is full of history and there are many of great archaeological sites, museums, and restaurants, but a trip to Athens, whether you are going on a Greek island cruise to Santorini or just there for a few days like us, you can’t miss out on this amazing historic site.
The Ancient Agora was the center for democracy and commerce in ancient Athens. We take through some of the buildings that were here. Some are still standing, but many of them are in ruins. However, the most well-preserved Greek temple, the Temple of Hephaestus, is here. The Temple of Hephaestus was one of our favorite places in Athens. We also discuss some ancient Greek history and a lesson on Greek Mythology. Get ready for picturesque views, amazing history, and archaeology.
