Khuvsgul Lake
Khuvsgul Lake is known as Asian Switzerland and the Asian Blue pearl. it is one of the most popular destinations for those who love traveling to grassland-forest and lake areas. Only 11% of the land area is covered with forest. The Khuvsgul Lake is located in the northwest of Mongolia near the Russian border. The town of Hatgal is at the southern end of the lake. It is 136 kilometers long, and its maximum depth is 262 meters.

It is the second-most voluminous freshwater lake in Asia and holds almost 70% of Mongolia's fresh water and 2% of the world's freshwater.
