Session description:
This session is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of the limits that cloud engineers have to overcome when working at large scale using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. It will be facilitated by real world examples and code snippets. There will be an introduction into the different issues with examples from AWS cloud and IaC tool called AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK). It is possible to follow the session without the previous working experience with AWS and AWS CDK, but having hands-on exposure with any public cloud provider will help. The problem categories and solutions are based on AWS cloud and AWS CDK, but they are general across all public cloud providers and IaC tools.
