The New Jersey Nets Sam Bowie wasn't as spry and agile as he used to be but these were his best NBA years. Cartwright naturally made him work for his looks in the post, yet Sam was able to show off his soft touch from outside and general feel for the game. I have to add though that his missed field goals did look ugly, Bill Cartwright was really good at maintaining his position when defending the post. February 11, 1992.
