How to Deal with Cuts and Scars

Geofatboy demonstrates how he deals with shaving and other cuts, nicks, and weepers. First apply a styptic pencil or the wide stick alum block and directly to the affected area. It will usually heal and close up in minutes, hours, or a day. If the cut is larger, clean the area possible spray hydrogen peroxide in it, and apply Neosporin. Massage the Neosporin ointment into the affected area several times a day to keep the wound from scabbing over and forming scar tissue. This will accelerate the healing time of the injury and will also relieve the pain and aching caused by the cut. You can also apply the ointment directly to the gauze pad, then apply the band aid or adhesive bandage over the affected area. This is a time tested method that has worked for many years.
