🎬 ABOUT THE SOUND & THE ERA: Designed to sound like a lost master tape discovered from the glorious 1970s Golden Era, this project captures the unique duality of Jimmy Cliff's artistry that defined a generation. On one side, we have the gritty, fast-paced Ska and Rocksteady energy of his "rude boy" outlaw persona (channeling the spirit of Ivanhoe Martin from The Harder They Come). On the other, we explore the soulful, gospel-influenced Pop-Reggae anthems that made him a global superstar capable of uniting the world.
