Glasgow Rangers have been relegated to the lowest tier of professional football in Scotland. It comes after the club was forced into liquidation in June due to major financial problems.

Rangers had hoped to parachute from the Scottish Premier League to the first division, but 25 of the 30 SFL clubs voted against them playing in Division 1. It ends a summer of uncertainty for Rangers, who'll look to work their way back up the leagues under new owner Charles Green.
