Mickey's Mix Magic | Side by Side (Disneyland & Minecraft)

Disney describes Mickey’s Mix Magic as a "high-energy projection show celebrating the one and only Mickey Mouse." The show makes heavy use of projection technology on the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A., mist screens on the Rivers of America, and the front of the "it's a small world" building. This show is technically a replacement for the park's nightly fireworks show, but confusingly fireworks will be a part of the show on "select nights" (for now fireworks are only planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, or some holidays). This kind of makes sense as Disneyland's fireworks spectaculars are frequently canceled due to wind, but we can't help but think that they're just trying to save some cash by not including fireworks every night.

Mickey's Mix Magic is fun and high-energy. We think most ages will enjoy the show thanks to the vibrant projections and catchy music. We appreciate the multiple viewing locations that offer similar experiences. Unlike other Disneyland fireworks spectaculars, you don't need to be in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle to get the full experience.
