A playthrough of the exclusive hidden character Fang the Wolf in Eighting/Hudson Soft’s Bloody Roar Extreme for the Japanese Gamecube.

Now this is a weird one. I always thought that Bloody Roar Extreme was an Xbox title, and as that game isn’t compatible with the X360 I wouldn’t have been able to cover this character otherwise. Nope! Primal Fury in Japan was renamed to Extreme, and contains Fang, an exclusive character to that game. Japan always used to get exclusive stuff, much to the envy of the West (and Europe in particular, we always got shafted on cool stuff). There was no excuse for this either; the Japanese version came out after the NA release, but before the European one! I guess we’re just not worth bothering with. As Paulie Walnuts once said, “Word to the wise; remember Pearl Harbor”.

Anyway, you’re not missing out on much if you don’t play as Fang. He’s actually just an alternate costume-character for Yugo, and doesn’t play that much differently from him, if really at all. I don’t even know what the point of him is. But here’s hidden, so here he is.
And yeah, this playthrough lagged like shit. I’m going to try and see if I can make Dolphin work better for later vids (of which there are very few, thank fuck) but truth be told it’s an emulator which just really doesn’t seem to like being recorded for some reason. It’s what we got though, I guess.
