The Budameru Rivulet was breached due to recent floods in Vijayawada, causing severe damage to nearby areas. Today, the third breach was also sealed, completing the closure of all breaches. As a result, floodwaters have stopped overflowing into the low-lying areas. Entire work was carried out under the supervision of AP Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu. Today, Minister Nara Lokesh visited the site to inspect the progress of the work.
