The lens was purchased in bad condition with stains on the glass, focusing ring stiff and without front and back attachment capability. In the video can be seen the solution found for using it with a taking lens and with a front focusing element.

Regular tools are used excepting the manual polishing of the glass where Diamond Oily paste was used. These are coming in different grit ranging from 0.5 to 10.

The lens was "blackened" inside using velour style paper to minimise internal reflexions.

The overall process takes time and care.
When front element is removed from factory position, later will need to be re-aligned in front of a chart.
