Monrovia is a welcoming community located 20 miles Northeast of Los Angeles at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. With over 37,000 residents, the city is loved for its preservation of local historical homes and buildings.

Monrovia has been recognized as an All-America City by the National Civic League. It is also recognized as a California Tree City, known for its special oak trees. Old Town Monrovia is the San Gabriel Valley Reader’s Choice Award for favorite city/downtown.

Monrovia has seen exponential business growth, with nearly 300,000 square feet of new office uses and over 2,200 new jobs. The city includes a distinct mix of retail, industry, manufacturing and high tech business. Many big corporate entities like Trader Joe’s, Naked Juice, and Southern California News Group have established their headquarters in Monrovia.

In 2016, Monrovia opened over 4.5 miles of Hillside Wilderness Preserve trails, which provide the community with a wonderful recreational opportunity.

Monrovia has everything from top-rated education to world-class cultural facilities to fantastic recreational outlets. It is no surprise that Monrovia residents are proud to call it home.
