Hello friends and welcome back to another sketching tutorial! Today, we’ll be recreating Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night painting using only our professional marker pens! This project is one I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, and now feels like the perfect moment to dive in. If you are new to professional markers, recreating Van Gogh's style is actually very beneficial because it allows you to test and experiment with different nibs of not only Copics but other professional markers as well.

The visible and contrasting strokes in the original painting make it easy to replicate using the brush or bullet nibs found in professional marker pens. You can also use the chisel nibs, just bear in mind that this type of nib will leave sharper edges in your drawings.
