Thousands of Latina families face pressure from President Donald Trump's immigration policies. Still, in this context of inequality and discrimination, Camila Sosa and Karla Peñaloza, two childhood friends, won the prized QuestBridge scholarship that will help them achieve the so-called 'American Dream' by gaining admission to prestigious universities.

As part of this Hispanic Heritage Month, we present this short documentary, in which Camila and Karla share how they faced this challenge and why it is so essential for their families, as well as encourage other young Latinas to pursue their dreams.
