Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) has been present in Somalia since 2011. With WASH and nutrition programmes funded by the European Commission, PAH has supported more than 80 000 people in the most vulnerable communities in different regions. PAH's primary focus is to provide safe drinking water through drilling or rehabilitating boreholes, constructing water distribution systems and rainwater reservoirs. To ensure comprehensive and sustainable interventions, their actions also include improving sanitary conditions and raising awareness on hygiene and sanitation.
