Sagamihara reaction after knifeman kills 19

(26 Jul 2016) At least nineteen people were killed and about twenty wounded in a knife attack early on Tuesday at a facility for the mentally impaired in a city just outside Tokyo.
It is the worst mass killing for generations in Japan.
Police said they responded to a call about 2:30 am local time (17:30 GMT 25 July) from an employee saying something horrible was happening at the facility in the city of Sagamihara, west of Tokyo.
A man turned himself in at a police station about two hours later, police in Sagamihara said.
He left the knife in his car when he entered the station and has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and trespassing.
Locals who knew the man suspected of attack reacted with shock to the news.
