Webinar: Constant-On-Time (COT) Control for FPGA High-Current Power Supplies

Описание к видео Webinar: Constant-On-Time (COT) Control for FPGA High-Current Power Supplies

Constant-on-time (COT) control enables fast transient response, increased light-load efficiency, and minimizes output capacitance. Thanks to MPS’s advanced multi-phase COT control, multiple power modules can be placed in parallel to create scalable, high-current power supplies capable of powering FPGAs and ASICs while meeting their strict transient response requirements. This webinar will cover the use of MPS power modules using COT control to power FPGA high-current rails, including an introduction to multi-phase COT control, a comparison to current-mode control, an overview of the benefits and drawbacks of each control method, and some design best practices.

The following topics will be covered in this webinar:

-Constant-On-Time (COT) Control vs. Current Mode Control
-Multi-Phase COT to Enable Fast Transients for Large Current Steps
-MPS’s Advanced Power Blocks for Powering FPGA Core Rails
