A Trip to RYE and Staying at THE MERMAID INN | 1066 Country

Continuing my journey in 1066 Country in East Sussex, I make a return to Rye spending two Nights staying at the Famous ‘Mermaid Inn’ so I can explore the History and Heritage of this stunning Medieval Town. Rye was an important Member of the Cinque Ports Confederation and the Protection of the Town was important due to the Commerce that Trading brought. I Wander around the Main Town Visiting St Mary’s Church and it’s Tower, the 13th Century Ypres Tower (where we did a Paranormal Investigation back in 2010), take a little Tour of ‘The Mermaid Inn’ and of course, have some delicious Pub Dinners!
