🇵🇭 Naga Metropolitan Cathedral | Birthday Celebration at Shakey's | S & R

January 16, 2024. First we went to visit Naga Metropolitan Cathedral where we lit some candles and said some prayers. Then Mark flew his Mini 3 Pro. Later in the day we celebrated one of Cleo's brother's birthday at Shakey's near our AirBnB. Finally we went to S&R member warehouse to grab some things for karaoke with some of Cleo's family (Aunts, Uncles and Cousins).

A note about the Tagalog word for take-away: Balutan, which means to drape, wrap, shroud, bundle, package or pack. Sharon Cuneta, who is a major celebrity in the Philippines (and one of Cleo's favorites) has a song called "Balutin mo ako" which Filipinos have equated with 'take-away'. So instead of saying Balutan for the leftovers they might ask to "Sharon" the leftovers.
