The Last Kingdom On Set MISTAKES Fans Noticed!

Welcome back to Flixified, today on the channel we are going to have a glimpse at The Last Kingdom on set mistakes, bloopers and funny moments. The Last Kingdom is based on Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories series of books. The title of the TV series comes from the first novel, with the TV series following the action through a number of the books. The action is based around the adventures of Uhtred of Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon), and follows the story through Anglo-Saxon Britain with the invasion of the Vikings and the ambitions of the Kingdom of Wessex to unite the kingdoms to form England as a unified nation. The Last Kingdom Season 5 will hit Netflix on 9 March 2022 but before we dive into the synopsis of season 5, let’s look back at the funny moments the cast shared while they were making the series.

THE LAST KINGDOM is known for its unflinching brutality on screen, and now the lead star of the show has revealed a rather shocking off-camera moment during filming. Alexander Dreymon, who plays Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the BBC-Netflix drama, has opened up about the time he nearly broke a man’s nose while shooting a climactic battle scene for the end of season one. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 34-year-old admitted: "During that sequence I did kick somebody in the face and almost broke his nose and that was one of the worst moments." Alexander said he found it “scarier” injuring someone else than getting hurt himself, saying that afterwards he had to carry on as if nothing had happened and finish filming the explosive scenes.
