Storm Darragh is arriving into western parts of the UK this evening, bringing some very strong winds, with severe disruption likely in western exposed coastal areas. Some heavy downpours will also be associated with this storm system as it moves east over the country. Temperatures will be near the average, but it will feel colder amidst the strong wind chill. Rain will affect the majority of the country overnight and into tomorrow. A red warning for wind is out for southwest England and Wales. An amber warning for wind is in effect for Wales, southwest England, northwest England, and Northern Ireland, and an amber warning for rain is also out for Wales. A yellow wind warning is out for southern Scotland and the rest of England, while a yellow rain warning is also out for southern Scotland.
