Dissolve heavy rust on a neglected cylinder head to assess and see if it's salvageable which you might be able to do yourself with valve lapping. This is something you might want to do if you found a rare or numbers matching or date code correct head in a junk yard or otherwise neglected. Dissolving the rust will allow you to disassemble the head and carefully inspect it. A machine shop would either never take it or charge and extremely high fee if you brought in a head rusted as bad as the way this one first looked. Soak it in vinegar and prep it and now it's just another old cylinder head. Enjoy!
