💻 Unboxing the ASUS ROG STRIX G17 laptop 💻 I finally bought myself a laptop

After years of not having a laptop or PC of my own and doing everything on my fast smartphone, I finally have my own laptop.

I purchased an ASUS ROG STRIX G17 from Best Buy Canada on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

The laptop was regularly priced at approximately $1650 Canadian, but it was on sale for an amazing price of $1200 Canadian.

The ASUS ROG STRIX G17 runs on Windows 11, has 512 GB of storage, and 16 GB OF RAM memory. It has an AMD Ryzen 7 Processor with no camera except for the USB Camera.

In this video, filmed in the morning, I do an unboxing and show a basic setup of the laptop as well as a quick view of a YouTube video playing to show you how it works.

Note that when filming a screen through a camera, the image is somewhat distorted and not as clear as in person. But this video gives a good idea of what it looks like.
