South Boulevard–Park Row Historic District is located in the southern part of Dallas, Texas.

It was added to the National Register on February 5, 1979.

The South Boulevard – Park Row Landmark Historic District consists of over 100 houses built primarily by the city’s Jewish community between 1910 and 1935. The development of the neighborhood was anchored by Temple Emanu-El’s newly built synagogue, which was completed in 1917 and located at Harwood Street and South Boulevard. Congregation Tiferet Israel moved to the neighborhood in 1939, and their building still stands today at Edgewood Street and Al Lipscomb Way (formerly Grand Avenue). The neighborhood was developed around the same time as Swiss Avenue and, similarly, the homes are a mix of relatively intact Prairie School, Craftsman bungalow, and historical revival styles designed by leading Dallas architects – including Lang and Witchell, George Dahl, Roscoe DeWitt, and Hubble and Greene. Former owners and residents included some of Dallas’ most prominent businessmen and retailers like Neiman Marcus cofounder Herbert Marcus (2620 South Boulevard), Abraham Kahn of the E.M. Kahn family (2634 South Boulevard), and former Linz Brothers president Ascher Kahn (2734 South Boulevard). By the late 1950s, most of the neighborhood’s Jewish residents had moved to rapidly growing North Dallas neighborhoods, and Congregations Temple Emanu-El and Tiferet Israel relocated with them. South Boulevard – Park Row became Dallas’ 3rd Landmark historic district in 1977.
