The old Tone Benders are cornerstones of the rock sound. Much coveted, they command crazy prices for decent working specimens but there can be quite a bit of difference between each one due to their Germanium transistor base. The Ramble FX Twin Bender 3 offers two of the classics - MKII Pro and MK I.V - and gives you total control over input impedance and bias - neither of which feature on the originals. Top of those features with a 3-way tone toggle (mids, stock, bass) and you will be well on your way to vintage fuzz heaven without the stress of compatibility (wahs, buffers, etc.) and temperature issues (thank you Bias knob). And the sound? Judge for yourself. Sounds like the real deal to me!
