FOX 11's David Go interviews Michael Mirer, assistant professor of communications at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

They discuss a bill before the Wisconsin Legislature that would allow sports betting statewide.

The discussion also turns to the arrest of Portland Trail Blazers Head Coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat, Terry Rozier in a gambling investigation. More than a dozen pro athletes across all four major professional sports leagues have been linked to illegal sports gambling involvement since the Supreme Court allowed states to legalize sports gambling in 2018, including two permanent suspensions -- Tucupita Marcano in MLB and and Jontay Porter in the NBA.
