New FASTag Rules Today // FirstCry IPO Opens August 6

Starting August 1, 2024, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) will implement new regulations for FASTags, the electronic toll collection system. These updates are designed to improve both the efficiency and security of the system, affecting millions of FASTag users nationwide.
Brainbees Solutions, which operates the FirstCry brand of kidswear, will launch its initial public offering (IPO) on August 6. The IPO comprises a new issue of ₹1,666 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 5.4 crore shares by existing shareholders, including M&M and SoftBank. The anchor investor round is set to start on August 4, a day before the IPO officially opens on August 5, as detailed in the company's red herring prospectus (RHP) submitted to the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
