Section cutting is one of the important practical in pharmacognosy and botany discipline. Fennel is an example of carminative and has oil content in it. This is good for mouth cleaning. section cutting of the fennel is a little difficult, so we have made this process easy by making this video. follow these processes for section cutting of the fennel.
1- Soak the fennel overnight
2- take a piece of fennel and cut it with the help of a sharp razor blade
3- place the section in a watch glass containing water
4- And then transfer into the staining reagent
5- And now wash the stain with plain water to remove the excess stain
6- Transfer the section into a clean and dry glass slide
7- Add 01-02 drops of glycerin-water (50%) on the section
8- Place a coverslip over the final section without any air bubbles.
9- Watch under a microscope (10X and 10 X)
10- Watch and draw all parts
