Railfanning The CN Oakville Subdivision at Manchester Park part 1. 8/25/2010

Part 1: This is my first video from this location. It has been a few months since I last visited Manchester Park on The CN Oakville Subdivision to film trains, so I figured I should foam the CN line again because there is mainly alot of action on the CN line with passenger trains like GO Transit, VIA Rail Canada and O.N. Rail. and Amtrak during the summer.

This video has a variety passenger trains.. you will see some trains like VIA Rail Canada, GO Transit, 1 O.N. Rail and 1 Amtrak. Unfortunately, there was not one CN freight train I have caught here. It would've been great to see one at least.

There were definitely alot of eastbound and westbound GO Transit trains because of the rush hour. 2 of the GO Transit trains had GO Transit GMD F59PH's. One of them was trailing behind a GO Transit MPI MP40PH-3C.

One of the greatest things I saw with the VIA Rail Canada trains today was that there was a VIA Rail Canada train coming outbound on the VTMC track led by 2 rebuilt VIA Rail GMD F40PH's in elephant style with a very great woman engineer! I would have to say that women engineers are very polite to railfans [maybe some aren't you never know].

Another great catch was ONR 698 led by a O.N. Rail EMD GP40-2 with some passenger cars pushing a GO Transit cabcar out of the VTMC Inbound track! I also got another shot of it coming in the Inbound track. They were switching from Inbound to Outbound because this cabcar/train needed a certain track in the VTMC yard.

You will also see an eastbound Amtrak train VIA 98/AMTK 63 led by a Amtrak GE P42DC from Niagara Falls, NY to Toronto Union station for it's summerly service.
