In this series i explain how to turn an abstract acrylic pour into something more in this case, an abstract blow-out into a vision of heaven- abstract realism, whilst preserving the many wonderful color combinations and designs only achieved with an acrylic blow-out. I used an existing acrylic pour painting created some time ago, but which I felt had potential to be something more. This is my own unique style of utilising bloom blowouts. For those not familiar with acrylic pours, I have also been doing a few pours which I design intentionally to form something MORE than a bloom. In this painting I preserved most of the original pour to form the background of heaven and I painted in the colonnade-style walls to indicate how we will be wrapped around by G-d's love in heaven. There are so many ways to use the pours- I do something different each time, depending on the composition of the pour.
