Continuing our journey through Guizhou on this lengthy road trip we got the chance to explore 4 new locations. This particular episode is on the shorter end due to the fact that we actually did not spend as much time filming here as we did taking photos.

In the 2 days that I spent at Wanfenglin, the best part about it was laying outside at night at our homestay in Wanfenglin and feeling the cool air while watching the stars. I actually took a time lapse here while exploring the mountain roads at night and after about 2 hours, I realized that I had picked a cemetery for my time lapse spot hahah this turned out to be quite freaky as I continuously heard weird noises and even seen strange faint glowing in the distance. At one point i zoomed in on a photo i took and seen what appeared to be the reflection of eyes... I still do not know if this was an animal or some villager playing pranks but it freaked me out and I rushed back to my car cutting the time lapse short.

Moving onto Day 4 of the road trip at Malinghe, this ranks in my top 3 favorite destinations of Guizhou as I felt at home while walking through this river canyon. The smell of morning dew on the leaves and the intense sun rays bouncing off the waterfall streams creating rainbows, it just gave you this feeling of wanting to stay forever. Aside from that, it is remarkable that there are 56 different waterfalls here.. fifty-six.. that is absolutely INCREDIBLE! It is no wonder that this place is labeled "The Most Beautiful Scar On Earth".
I really want to return in the next year to get the chance to explore the other half of the canyon that was previously closed in 2022. I can also take the chance to do some water rafting! This would be an absolute dream.

Day 5 was more relaxing than anything because we spent nearly the entire day driving. It is roughly 8 hours from Wanfenglin to Libo and we didnt have enough time to plan for an extra day in between so we just made it a short 2 hour hike through the Karst landscape of Shuangrufeng before arriving at Libo in the evening.
