Happy new year!! I started off 2020 with opening a sustainable fashion popup, and I'm so excited to give you a tour! It's always been a dream of mine to open a shop, especially one focused on sustainability and conscious consumption. The space wasn't done when I filmed this (I was just so excited to share), so I'll do a more casual vlog soon with the whole setup!

I talk more about the vision and goals for the space, but here's a little summary: through my journey of becoming a more sustainable consumer, I found over the years that having a wardrobe of mostly thrifted pieces, and some basics that are made well (mostly EF) , has worked best for me. The thrifted portion lets me constantly play with style, and not feel bad about wanting to change things up - I can redonate and thrift more which saves clothes from ending up in landfills and prevents new resources from being used. So with this space, I really wanted to share what has worked best for me, by offering thrifted pieces and EF basics. It's more about education and inspiring others to learn more about the state of the industry (and thrift!) than it ever is about selling clothing. As I mention in the video, it's amazing if people buy pieces from me, but there is never any pressure because I want to make sure people are only buying pieces they'll love and wear for a long time. The support has been amazing so far (I've been open for a week now!), and it's so cool to see everyone's positive response to my vision. It makes me so so happy when people tell me they've been inspired to make an impact with their style choices too!
