Police issue urgent dashcam appeal after mum and daughter die

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash which killed a young woman and her child over the weekend. The victims, a 24-year-old woman and a young girl, aged five, sadly died after being hit by a car yesterday (Sunday, March 24).

Emergency services were alerted to reports of a serious collision at 9.45am involving a Nissan Qashqai and two pedestrians. The crash took place along Victoria Road in the St Budeaux area of the city.

The two victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. They were taken to Derriford Hospital, but were sadly pronounced deceased.
