ABOUT TARA
Tara's early career involved working in e-commerce and FMCG, which ultimately led to a realization that a radical change in human consumption is due. After spending about a year carbon trading with her partner, Tara discovered that a core issue developing nature-based carbon removal projects stems in community -- a safe, reliable, and accountable community is crucial to succeed.

Bumiterra was founded in 2022 for that reason: to build community-powered and centric reforestation programs, so that each vulnerable local and community member can achieve income security through nature restoration, not nature extraction, and bringing power back into their own hands. In doing so, Tara is committed to be a leader that upholds the rights of the voiceless and the vulnerable.

Bumiterra's just the beginning.
