A Traditional Chinese Delicacy: Black Sweet Vinegar Pork Trotter

Black Sweet Vinegar Pork Trotter is a traditional Chinese dish often cooked as a confinement food. The Chinese believes that this dish would boost post natal immunity for women during confinement. Nevertheless, it is now a common dish enjoyed by everyone in the family. The natural collagen of pork trotters is very good for one’s health too. This dish is now commonly sold today in many chinese restaurants that sell authentic pork dishes.

Ingredients:

1 pork trotters, cut across the bone into 3 cm pieces.
200 grams ginger, old and young, cut into thick pieces.
150 grams bamboo cane sugar
600 ml black vinegar
water
Boil Eggs

【猪脚醋】

材料:
1) 猪腿 1个
2) 鸡蛋 10 个
3) 薑 一大块切片
4) 辣椒干 适量

调味料:
1) 醋 一瓶
2) 糖 5汤匙
3) 水分 用回醋的瓶子装半瓶水

做法:
1) 煮一锅水把猪脚烫熟, 除掉肮脏的杂质, 洗干净备用

2) 鸡蛋先煮熟,剥壳备用

3) 薑先爆香,加入猪肉拌炒至香, 把整瓶醋倒进去, 加上半瓶水

4) 中小火焖煮半小时,看到所有的肉和蛋都上色, 就可以关火,这个时候可以加糖。
5) 到了晚上要吃在加热就可以了,醋的酸会让肉质变软的。

温馨提醒: 要是你要汤多的, 水分可以加多。
