Hung (Thien Nguyen) is a car mechanic who lives with his mother, An (Thu Nguyen) and brother, Tuan (Khiem Ly) in Cabramatta. Hung holds a secret; he has chronic Hepatitis B. Tensions rise in the Vietnamese community when Cabramartta is labelled as a hotspot for Hep B. Hung's world falls apart when renowned Vietnamese doctor Minh (Vico Thai) is allegedly assaulted by Hung's gang. Outcast; he loses his love interest, Mai (Yen Le) and his family and friendships are torn apart. Hung rises to the challenge by evoking the legend of Le Loi and the magical turtle. He joins forces with best friends Bich (Maria Tran), Long (Ian Tran) and his entourage to reunite the Vietnamese community.
