Regelmäßig schüttelt man als ITler*in den Kopf über die Rückständigkeit der deutschen IT-Infrastruktur. Ob das Bürgerportal der Gemeinde oder die Website des Fußballvereins - kein Vergleich zu den fast data, serverless, Kubernetes, React, CI/CD Microservices, an denen wir täglich bei der Arbeit schrauben.
Doch was wäre...wenn wir selbst etwas daran ändern würden?

In meinem Talk möchte euch dazu motivieren, eure IT-Skills für den guten Zweck einzusetzen. Wir reden über Ideen wie civic tech und data4good und ich stelle euch einige relevante Organisationen vor. Außerdem bringe ich euch ein paar Projektbeispiele von CorrelAid mit, einem data4good Netzwerk mit über 1200 ehrenamtlichen Data Scientists, um euch zu zeigen, wie genau wir Non-Profit-Organisationen mit Datenanalyse weiterhelfen. Spoiler: it’s not rocket science!
