Brad Paisley and Brian Wampler: a couple of names that should be familiar to you if you're a guitar gear/playing enthusiast. They are friends and together make a formidable team when it comes to designing and building great tools for us lesser mortals. First came the Paisley Overdrive, a fantastic take on the TS-type pedal with plenty of options. It remains one of the company's most popular pedals. Now we have a fusion of the Paisley OD, Underdog OD (no longer available), topped off with the routing of the Dual Fusion. Excellent in theory and in practicality. The Underdog is a grittier and gainier affair than the Paisley which has its roots in the classic 808. You can extend the range of these two great drives much further than you may think thanks to: 1. Their stacking and routing order (any way or separate); 2: The Paisley side's 'Voicing' control (mid hump or mid flat); 3: The Underdog side's 'Fat' control (more mids and gain if you want it). The Paisley will do everything from clean boost to mid-gain and the Underdog will pick up where the Paisley leaves off. Together I call them the 'Paisley Dog'. They rock!
