Fixing Volvo 740 part 1 - Tail lights

Описание к видео Fixing Volvo 740 part 1 - Tail lights

Last spring I decided to finally fix the broken tail lights of my Volvo. One of the lenses was very badly shattered, but I managed to glue it back together. I also hard wired them, since the original conductive films were in bad shape and had bad contact in many places. In the process I added 5W bulbs in the corner of the lights, where there were unused places for bulbs.

This car is a 1986 Volvo 740 GL with the B200K engine. It was originally automatic, but at some point someone converted it to 5-speed manual (the M47 gearbox). I've owned this Volvo since april 2020 and have used it as a daily driver every now and then. It is currently waiting for repairs so I can get it through the inspection and back on the road.
