৫ টাকা কেজি দরে সস্তা সবজি বিক্রি হয় গাজীপুরের গ্রামীণ হাট বলদিঘাট বাজারে || Boldighat Bazar

বলদীঘাট বাজার বাংলাদেশের গাজীপুর জেলার শ্রীপুর উপজেলা জনপদের কাওরাইদ ইউনিয়নে শিমুলতলা গ্রামে অবস্থিত। সপ্তাহে প্রতি শনি এবং মঙ্গলবার দিন বিকেল বেলায় এখানে হাট বসে। কাশিঝুলি, দেদুয়ার, লাকচতল, নিমাইচালা, শিমুলতলা, উত্তর পেলাইদ, আবদার, বিধাই, যোগীরসিট, গলদাপাড়া, ধামলৈ, সোনাব, মোড়লপাড়া, ফকির পাড়া, কাওরাইদ, বেলদিয়া সহ প্রায় ১৮ টি গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা নিয়মিত কেনাবেচা করতে আসেন সপ্তাহিক এই গ্রামীণ হাট। এই অঞ্চলের বাসিন্দাদের শতকরা প্রায় ৮০ শতাংশ কৃষি কাজ করে জীবিকা নির্বাহ করে থাকে। এই অঞ্চলের লাল মাটিতে উৎপাদিত সবজি অনেক সুস্বাদু হয়ে থাকে। আম-কাঁঠাল, লিচু ,‌ পেপে, কলা সহ বিভিন্ন প্রকার মৌসুমী ফলমূল এবং টাটকা শাকসবজি আবাদ করেন এই জনপদের বাসিন্দারা। আশেপাশের গ্রাম থেকে কৃষকেরা তাদের নিজেদের উৎপাদিত শাকসবজি এবং ফলমূল এই হাটে নিয়ে আসেন বিক্রি করার জন্য। প্রাচীন জনপদের চিত্র এখনো এই হাটে বিদ্যমান। মাছ-মাংস থেকে শুরু করে বিভিন্ন প্রকার টাটকা শাক-সবজি সহ গ্রামীণ জনপদের নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় সকল প্রকার পণ্য এই হাটে কেনাবেচা হয়। যুগের পর যুগ গ্রামীণ জনপদের ইতিহাস আর ঐতিহ্যকে ধারণ করে এখনো টিকে আছে অপরূপ সুন্দর এই গ্রামীণ হাট বলদীঘাট বাজার।

Boldighat Bazar is located in Shimultala Village in Kaoraid Union of Sreepur Upazila Township in Gazipur District, Bangladesh. This market is held here every Saturday and Tuesday afternoon of the week. Residents of about 18 villages including Kashijhuli, Deduar, Lakchatal, Nimaichala, Shimultala, Uttar Pelaid, Abdar, Bidhai, Jogirsit, Galdapara, Dhamlai, Sonab, Moralpara, Fakir Para, Kaoraid, Beldia regularly come to this weekly village haat for shopping. About 80 percent of the residents of this region earn their livelihood by doing agricultural work. Vegetables grown in the red soil of this region are very tasty. Residents of this town cultivate different types of seasonal fruits and fresh vegetables including mango-jackfruit, litchi, papaya, banana. Farmers from nearby villages bring their own produce vegetables and fruits to this market to sell. The image of the ancient town still exists in this market. From fish and meat to various types of fresh vegetables, all kinds of daily essential products of rural towns are bought and sold in this market. Boldighat Bazar is a very beautiful rural market that still holds the history and tradition of rural town after age.
