OCTC x Trihydro: New HON Fenceline Monitoring Rules & Data Management

Описание к видео OCTC x Trihydro: New HON Fenceline Monitoring Rules & Data Management

In this webinar, we dive into the recently finalized rules for the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) that apply to the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry (SOCMI) and amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP). Affected facilities that use, produce, store, or emit any of the 6 key air toxics (ethylene oxide, chloroprene, benzene, 1,3-butadiene, ethylene dichloride, and vinyl chloride) will be required to implement a fenceline monitoring program by July 15, 2026.

The fenceline monitoring requirements for these facilities are based on Petroleum Refinery Sector Rule (RSR) fenceline monitoring requirements that were finalized in December 2015. In this webinar, Trihydro will review key aspects of the new rule, including applicability determination, compliance timelines, sample station siting, passive diffusion tube and Summa cannister sampling, an overview of methods for root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Additionally, Trihydro will share field-based and data management lessons learned from our experience assisting petroleum refineries with implementation and ongoing support of their RSR fenceline monitoring programs.
