48kwh battery upgrade (DIY) with 24kwh battery in the trunk no CAN modification done.

Nissan leaf range extender, 24kwh battery plus another 24kwh battery in the trunk. This conversion was done in January 2018. The car remains to be 24kwh and your capacity bar will not go up or increase, you will have more range and power.

NOTE: We need a way to protect the battery in the trunk in case of a rear-end collision, a strong metal case for everything in the trunk will be good for protection.
