Join the yearly Magic the Gathering livestream with Brandon Sanderson where we raise money for The Lightweaver Foundation (see below for the organizations we're supporting this year). We're playing the iconic format of "Archenemy," where Brandon takes on three players at once as the big bad.

Be part of the game by assisting our hopeful heroes! You can donate to cause chaos along with getting yourself a signed card from Brandon himself.

When donating to Venmo, please send it as "MTG - Gatewatch Name" so we can assign the correct trigger during the game! If you are donating a counter or effecting a creature, please specify which player / creature you are effecting in the note, thank you!

Magic Prices / Effects (Effects activate at the beginning of the next phase after donation)
$20: 1 Random Signed card from Brandon
$35: 1 Random Signed card from Brandon, and his opponents untap a land
$50: 1 Random Signed card from Brandon, and his opponents draw a card.
$75: 1 Random Signed card from Brandon, and one creature from Brandon's board can’t attack. (Multiple of this effect can shut down the entire board.)
$100: Steal the top card from Brandon's deck and have it signed and shipped to you and trigger a Gatewatch Effect
$1000: The Gatewatch unites, triggering all Gatewatch Effects and Brandon mills his top 10 cards into his library.

The Gatewatch Effects (Gatewatch effects activate at the beginning of the next phase after donation)
Jace - Cause a stipulation that must be followed for the remainder of the game. (I.E. speak in an accent, use certian phrases, etc. Only 5 can be active at once.)
Gideon - Gift an indestructible, double strike, or lifelink counter to a players creature (Players Choice)
Chandra - Deal 3 damage to target player
Lilliana - All non-archenemy players may put a creature from their graveyard back into their hand.
Nissa - All non-archenemy players may play a land from their hand to the battlefield untapped.
