Sure, the NFL’s popularity has absolutely skyrocketed in recent years – there is simply no denying it. The 32 team league has the highest average attendance of any professional sports league in the world at 67,591 people per game, which is particularly impressive considering the challenges that SO many professional sports teams are having with getting fans to their games.

Because of modern technology, it is so hard to get people out of their house for ANY event, but they go out in droves for NFL Football – and even if they aren’t actually AT the game, walk into any bar on a Sunday in the fall and you will find it loaded with fans watching every second the game.

Not to mention the fact that the league’s unmatched popularity exists despite the mountain of trouble that the NFL has found itself in surrounding a number of issues – both in the media and with the fans.

Everyone is sick of hearing about things like the player conduct policy, certain on the field rule changes and the wildly inconsistent refereeing that comes as a result of these crazy new rules...Yet they keep watching football of all kinds – the mainstay of course being the NFL.
