जो संसार भर में फैले हैं| सेवा भारती, विद्या भारती, संस्कार भारती, मजदूर संघ, बजरंग दल और राष्ट्रीय सिख संगत जैसे बड़े संगठन राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के ही घटक हैं |
महात्मा गाँधी ने 1934 में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के शिविर की यात्रा के दौरान वहाँ पूर्ण अनुशासन देखा और छुआछूत की अनुपस्थिति पायी। इससे प्रभावित होकर उन्होंने संघ की मुक्त कंठ से प्रसंशा किया था | राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ संसार का अकेला ऐसा संगठन है जिसमें आज तक भ्रस्टाचार या अनैतिकता की स्थिति नहीं आई | इस समय संघ-विचार परिवार द्वारा करीब 25,028 सेवा-प्रकल्प चलाए जा रहे हैं। ये प्रकल्प देश के 30 प्रांतों में 11,498 स्थानों पर चल रहे हैं। ये सेवा कार्य भिन्न-भिन्न क्षेत्रों पर केन्द्रित हैं, जैसे स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, सामाजिक, आर्थिक विकास आदि। भौगोलिक दृष्टि से 16,101 सेवा कार्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में, 4,266 वनवासी क्षेत्रों में, 3,412 सेवा बस्तियों में और शेष स्थानों पर 1,249 सेवा कार्य चल रहे हैं ।
