How to configure RAU Permissions for a Non-default Installation Location for Tableau Server
You still need permissions set for Tableau Server on a directory on the C: drive

00:30 - “Advanced” Security settings need to be set for Administrators and Run As User
00:42 - Verify in ‘Permissions Entry for Tableau Server’ that you have a checkmark next to ‘Modify’.
00:49 - You will also need to configure permissions set for a folder within the Installation directory.
00:55 - The full path under Tableau Server/data/Properties/ then choose the Security tab and select Administrators or Run As User and select Advanced Settings.
