Patient's Requirements
When our patient first came for consultation, she was very specific about two things:
She didn’t want anyone to know that she had undergone breast augmentation.
She wanted to avoid the visible borders of the implant since she is slim and athletic.
This concern is common among women with thin body types, as implants placed in the sub-glandular plane often show unnatural edges. The patient was well-researched and educated about the procedure, and we discussed how we could avoid these issues.

How We Used 3D Imaging to Plan the Surgery
To ensure the best results, we used 3D imaging technology to scan her body. This allowed us to show her how different implant sizes (230cc, 250cc, etc.) would look from various angles. After reviewing the images, she decided that the 230cc implant would suit her best.

The Dual-Plane Implant Technique
To avoid the visible implant edges, we opted for the dual-plane technique, a recent advancement in breast augmentation.

In this technique, the implant is placed under three layers:
The skin.
The breast tissue.
The pectoralis major muscle.
These three layers ensure that the implant borders remain hidden, giving a smooth and natural appearance.


Post-Surgery Results
The patient came back to us after 5 months and is doing perfectly well. She resumed exercising about 1.5 months after the procedure and no longer uses padded bras. When we asked her if anyone noticed the change, she mentioned that apart from her family, no one could tell she had undergone the procedure, which means our goal was achieved.

Goals Achieved
Our primary objectives were:
No visible implant borders, even for a slim, athletic patient.
A natural breast size, without making it obvious that she had augmentation.
Both of her requirements were fulfilled, and the results have been fantastic.
