DIY Pencil Holder featuring Santa’s Workshop dsp by Stampin’ Up! - Holiday Craft Fair Idea

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a pencil holder featuring Santa’s Workshop designer series paper by Stampin’ Up! You can use a mechanical Bic pencil in the holder or other similar sized pencils or pens. These make great DIY gifts, Secret Santa gifts and Craft Fair items. I was given this swap by a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator when I attended OnStage in Paris a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t find the instructions. Two of my subscribers requested this tutorial. This tutorial is dedicated to Tracy0872 and Sheri Lee.

First, cut a piece of Black Card Stock 9 3/8” by 2”. Then, score it at 7/8”, 1 ¼”, 7 5/8”, and 8 ½”. Fold along the score lines and the punch both ends using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. Cut a piece of Santa’s Workshop designer series paper 6” by 1 7/8” and then cut off a ¼” and ¾” piece. You are left with a 5 by 1 7/8” piece of dsp. Staple the shopping list or to do list to the back of the pencil holder. Then, using rolling adhesive or glue to attach the dsp. Embellish the pencil using a cut out stamped image or an embellishment cut out using the Brother ScanNCut.
