GUIDO BASSO (A voice you won't forget)

Описание к видео GUIDO BASSO (A voice you won't forget)

When Guido Basso played the flugelhorn, he spoke in a way that was as warm and beautiful as he was a person. I doubt there is anyone who ever met him, even in passing, who was not touched by his grace, and when you hear him play a ballad, you know.

In the wake of his recent passing, I say goodby to a friend and my most significant musical influence, and the world bids adieu to a musical artist of the highest calibre. In this video I share a few personal recollections and a musical clip that few people have heard. I think you'll agree that Guido's voice is one you won't forget.
